AHF's Men's Wellness Centers (MWC)

AIDS Healthcare Foundation's (AHF) Men’s Wellness Centers (MWC) are free, full service HIV & STD clinics with a focus on the sexual health and well being of gay men. Currently there are multiple locations in Southern California and Southern Florida. We provide a range of services to our clients, including:

• HIV Testing
• STD Screening & Treatment
• Genital Wart Treatment
• Hepatitis A & B Vaccinations
• Prevention Counseling

The clinic is always staffed by a medical doctor and several counselors, all available to assist clients with testing, treatment and information. This clinic services men. Transgender clients are also welcome. No appointment is needed.

Out of the Closet Thrift Stores

Out of the Closet (OTC) is a chain of thrift stores in California and Florida. It is owned and operated by AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the largest specialized provider of cutting-edge medicine and advocacy regardless of ability to pay. Out of the Closet Thrift Stores generate 30,000 donations and nearly 1 million shoppers a year.

OTC generates income that helps fund the medical services AHF provides. In addition to regular retail operations, most locations offer free HIV testing and counseling in a private area of the store. Click here to take a look at a list of OTC HIV Testing locations.

Mobile HIV and STD Testing Units

AIDS Healthcare Foundation operates a series of Rapid HIV Testing Units throughout California and Florida and is currenlty conducting the Testing USA 2010 HIV Testing Tour.

 

West Hollywood Mobile Testing Unit

The West Hollywood Mobile Testing Unit focuses on clients in the West Hollywood, California area, providing services at non-traditional times, including nights and weekends. This program offers free urine testing for Gonorrhea/Chlamydia, blood testing for Syphilis and confidential oral Rapid HIV testing and counseling on a walk-in basis. HIV test results are ready in just 20 minutes and while you wait, a counselor will answer any questions you have about HIV transmission and prevention. A lab will confirm all preliminary positive test results by processing an additional oral sample. STD results are available within two weeks of being tested.

Magic Johnson Mobile Testing Unit

The Magic Johnson Mobile Testing Van is part of AHF’s commitment to underserved populations and communities of color. AHF funds this program, with assistance from The Green Foundation. This van provides services for people of color in South Los Angeles, California.
